LEARN MORE ABOUT US.

The goal of the St. Charles Jewish Family Network is to create a warm and child-friendly community for young Jewish families living in St. Charles County, by offering programs, networking opportunities, and support for this important and growing demographic.

The initiative is being spearheaded by Bassy Landa, a master educator with years of teaching and outreach experience, and co-director of the newly established Chabad Jewish Center of St. Charles County.

How many young Jewish families are there in St. Charles County?

The most recent community study found that there are an estimated 5,800 Jews living in the county, and that 41% of Jewish households in St. Charles have at least one child living at home. Based on the county’s more recent growth trends, we can reasonably assume that these numbers have likely increased.

If I don’t have young children at home, can I still participate in JFN events?

While these events are specifically geared for young families, the Chabad Jewish Center of St. Charles County will be hosting a variety of events that are geared for the entire community. To find out more click here
